Sigita Ivaškaitė
Dramaturg
S. Ivaškaitė, who completed a Master’s degree in Theatre at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, has been working in the Lithuanian performing arts field for many years. Developing her work as a critic and as a dramaturg for contemporary dance performances, she has also spent more than a decade in the relatively rare role of production manager in Lithuanian theatre, where she extensively complemented her theoretical knowledge with practical experience while working alongside world-class professionals. Currently, S. Ivaškaitė continues her work as a dramaturg at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre.
Dramaturgy projects
Since 2014, she has been collaborating as a dramaturge and consultant with Lithuanian contemporary dance and theatre creators.

Publications
Since 2009, publishes critical and analytical publications in periodical culture press, prepares press releases and interviews with creators for Lithuanian press. Recorded commentaries for radio show “Avanscena” in 2018.
Teaching experience
In 2018 presented lecture cycle „Performative arts theory and practice“ for Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy directors course (leader - Y.Ross).
