ARIAS FROM THE SHOWER
Theatrical concert
Conductor:
Gintaras Rinkevičius
Director:
Dalia Ibelhauptaitė
“Bohemians” dreamt about the chance to survive by doing charity theatrical concert “Bohemian’s dreams”. “Bohemians” returned home from foreign travels to stage another concert “Nightingales return”. This time, they tossed all the worries aside and sang out “from the shower”.
The third series of theatrical concerts “Arias from the shower” is a continuation of the exceptional and increasingly popular global tradition of meeting creators in their homeland. The audience had an opportunity to get acquainted with their favorite arias selected by the singers themselves - both those already performed and those that have not yet been sung - which they would gladly sing in the shower. The concerts had lots of humor and fun, the much-noticed second half of the evening - cabaret - revealed unseen sides of the vocalists’ personalities. Also, interesting and original, was the promotional campaign, during which the soloists surprised passersby by singing in a bath or a shower installed in unexpected urban spaces (streets, shopping malls or even international film festival “Kino pavasaris” events).
